Like an ecosystem, Found Well Farm has developed connections into the wider community. They make all our lives better.
NH Fish & Game
NH Fish & Game was the initial Pine Barrens Client wishing to supplement the habitat for the endangered Karner Blue butterfly in the protected area in the Concord, NH Pine Barrens. Volunteer work with schools and local zoos has received great press and we provided the volume of plants needed to get restoration efforts off the ground. Plants grown include Sundial lupine (Lupinus perennis), Meadowsweet (Spiraea alba), and New Jersey Tea (Ceanothus americanus).
New Hampshire National Guard
Another partner in Karner Blue butterfly project, they require a broader plant palette for whole ecosystem restoration after a construction project. Plants grown include those mentioned above for NHFG and Black chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa), Stiff Aster (Aster linariifolius), Fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium), Sweet Everlasting (Gnaphalium obtusifolium), Scrub oak (Quercus ilicifolia), Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia serotina), Goldenrod (Solidago spp.), Steeplebush (Spireae tomentosa), and Golden Alexander (Zizia aurea).
Wintergreen Botanicals
Operated by Maria Noel Groves out of her home in Allenstown NH, Wintergreen Botanicals offers wonderful herb walks, classes and consultation. Maria & Ayn have a close working relationship and continue to collaborate.
National Wildlife Federation
Found Well Farm has been certified by the National Wildlife Federation as having all the elements needed to promote wildlife conservation.
